BACKSTORY
An aspiring soldier - ChildhoodAs a child, Eraeina would excitingly throw weak, sloppy punches & kicks at their training dummy; mimicking her father, Rafold. Her mother, Sa'raii would read her many stories as she was put to bed most nights with the goal to open up her mind. From time to time, Eraeina would sneak during the middle of the night to watch the griffons take leisurely flights under the stars.
The Invasion of Ala Mhigo - Teenage YearsWhen the Garlean Empire invaded Ala Mhigo, Eraeina's father would be quick to enlist himself & his family under their regime; thinking this was the most logical choice to ensure their survival. Eraeina herself would proudly follow in her father's every decision, including choosing to fight and slaughter her own people.
The White Tiger - Early AdulthoodAs she participated in battle after battle, Eraeina would rise to the rank of an Imperial captain within her regiment. Many would refer to her as 'The White Tiger' of Ala Mhigo, friend and foe alike. As her reputation grew amongst the Garleans, so did her father's apparent love & respect for her despite the many war atrocities committed.
Mercenary life - AdulthoodWith the tragic death of her mother as a result of an Ala Mhigan resistance raid, Eraeina would flee Gyr Abania towards Ul'dah & it's surrounding regions where she would work as a mercenary, most often as a guard. It is rumoured that her father did not follow her and for unknown reasons.
